Cricket Tournament.
On Tuesday morning my school had a cricket tournament after morning tea.
First we started by going to our houses, the house I was in was Kauri And were against Rata. While the round was playing I surprisingly catched the ball and everyone was cheering for me, but for some reason I felt awkward because I wasn’t used to people cheering for me that loud. at first Kauri was winning but Coach Lucas was being a partner for Spencer because he didn’t have any, and when he hit the ball it was stuck on the fence and they were running back and forth back, back and forth and every time they ran they gain points we were having a hard time getting the ball because it was hit way high up the fence but luckily geo from rm6 climbed the fence and threw the ball back down. Then it was kauri’s turn to bat, my partner for my team was Franceska, After a bit of cheering and waiting for our turn it was finally Franceska and I’s turn to bat I knew I was bad at batting but I had a really good time playing cricket and I think that me and Franceska work really well together.
Then it was Totara and Rimu’s turn. We all sat down on the pathway and cheered for Totara and Rimu. After a bit of cheering and shouting we finally finished the tournament and went out to eat lunch.
