Last week we had St Patrick’s day but sadly it got delayed on the 15th of March because the rain was too heavy to play so it was postponed to Monday. After two days of waiting for St Patrick’s day it was finally time to have St Patrick’s day, but we had to go to mass first.
After mass we did our task board, Task boards are like activities for I did wordle with Pio and I we did hard words for us to guess and gave us each other hints, then we watched “Spirited away” for a break I would really recommend Spirited away because it is full of adventure and funny lines, but we didn’t have enough time to finish the movie because we had assembly.
After assembly we did some math then the bell rang and it was time for morning tea, once morning tea finished we had to sit in a line with our class. After some time Mrs Bullot finally called out my name for my group it was called shamrocks.
After everyone got sorted out in their groups we all went to the places we were meant to go to, the first game we played were spoon race it was basically where you put an egg on a spoon and try balance while going around cups 2 times, even though we lost that round I still had some fun.
The second game we played was a bag game. The rules were where you had to go inside the bag and hop to the other side then grab the spoon on the ground and balance the peach with the spoon the we were against with were good but we both had a tie for that round.
then the 3rd one was cricket we basically had to hit all the wickets and if you hit them all your group wins and finally my team one a game.
The 4th game was with Mr Bell my teacher. The game we played was scatter ball, the way you play the game is you have to throw 3 balls anywhere and run till you reach the wall, but if you hear someone yell out stop without reaching the wall you loose.
And last but not least netball the teacher we had for the game was Mrs Kyle the rules for this game is that we had to pass the ball to our groups and give it to the little one to throw to the hoop we had a tie for this one.
The best way to finish the day is popsicles and that happened.The flavors were tropical,pineapple and orange.My group got tropical flavour.
We ended the day with karakia this was the best day ever
